Pilaf Rice



Ingredients:
  • Onion finely diced                              50g
  • Olive oil                                             10ml
  • Bay leaf                                             1
  • Seasoning                                          To taste
  • Long grain rice                                   1 cup
  • Veg/chicken stock                             1 1/2 cup
  • Cold butter                                        1 tblsp
Method:
  1. Sweat onions in olive oil.Add rice,bay leaf and stir through to warm.
  2. Add boiling hot stock and cover with a tight fitting lid.
  3. Place in an oven @ 180°C for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and fork through butter with seasoning.
